This course is very thorough and extremely well organized. Zsofie is supportive and understands concepts for adult learning, and creates a safe, non judgmental environment to learn Hungarian. She makes a challenging language fun.

Hungarian Ramp-Up isn’t just a language course.
It's a bridge to new experiences, meaningful connections and

I like that the course is structured around the real life stories. I now understand why you originally told us to look up sentences or phrases more often than single words. When I work on picking out words or phrases to use for making my own sentences, I have been way more successful in this class than in the other classes. It's partly because I know more words, but also because of the familiarity with everyday life described in the stories.

What do previous course participants say
about the course?
Zsófi is the best part of the course. I have had other Hungarian teachers before, but Zsófi is by far the most concerned with her students. I also like the follow-up (pratice + Q&A) sessions where Zsófi is available to answer questions.
I love being able to listen to the lessons any time and go back and repeat them, because I was traveling for many days in the middle of this course and I am still behind. But I know I don't miss anything because I have access to the whole course (including the recorded practice sessions) for a whole year.
I listen as often as I can to the same lesson. Each time I hear more familiar words and phrases. Even if I don't yet understand them all, I've noticed that I eventually start to hear more individual words as something I have heard before. I can figure out what many more words mean than I thought I could, even though it may take me a while!
